The calf scale is ruggedly built and mounts on your pickup, ATV or any vehicle with a receiver hitch. Also available in a standalone trailer version with a hand trailer. This scale is great for today’s progressive cow/ calf operations where birth weights are recorded for EPD’s and other record keeping. It can also serve as a means of transport for the calf. Other benefits include having the calf at working height and achieving a much safer relationship with the mother cow when the calf is upright and not on the ground. 

Single Animal Weigh Cage – Certified Legal for Trade

This 9 ft. single animal weigh cage is heavily constructed & comes fitted with all the electronics necessary for livestock weighing. This self-contained unit features:

• Adjustable sides to stop smaller livestock from turning within the cage
• Steel kick-panels on the lower half
• ¼” plastic sheeting on the upper half to enable ear tags to be read via antennas
• Easy-open bi-sliding doors at either end.

The unique design of the easy-slide doors allows the handler to open the head or rear gate when standing on either side of the cage – and with one hand.

The all-electronic multi-animal scale features a self-contained platform for complete portability. Four (4) 10,000lb. load cells provide a 150% overload safety factor. Optional 6 ft. stock racks (with spring-loaded latches front & back) and a card printer (with time & date) are available.

Each load cell is housed in a set of our specially designed mounts, constructed of heavy gauge steel (the most durable on the market today). Or a set can be specially designed to fit a customized mounting application.

Small Animal Weigh Cage

This self-contained weigh cage, measuring 55″ x 24″ deck, inside is 50″ x 18″ in size (can be modified), and is constructed of heavy gauge steel & comes fitted with a rubber mat, all the necessary electronics for effortless livestock weighing. 500 x 1 lb, 1% Accuracy

Features

• Easy-open sliding doors at either end allow the handler to open the head or rear gate when standing back with one hand by a single rope, or easy Butterfly doors or single slam doors.
• 14 gauge sheeting on both sides allows quieter operation & make a blind view for the livestock looking out.
• 1–2,000 lbs load cell under the deck, gives 700 lbs at the tip of the deck.
• Simple cage with single doors at both ends
• Floor overlaps frame allowing manure to run off the sides – prevents buildup underneath.

Cake Feeder Scale

Allows the livestock feeder to maintain accurate records on pasture fed cattle by netting off individual amounts/ loads of feed, medicated cake and minerals dispensed. It will also be possible to track exact amounts removed from storage bins, loaded into the feeder and the pounds that are fed per head.

Electronics

Rinstrum Indicators are very flexible, precision instruments which include a specially written program for livestock weighing applications. All functions, including calibration capacity, gross/ net, tare and graduation size are selected from the front panel. These durable indicators provide problem-free, no-nonsense weighing in less than ideal environments.
